Housing Assistance Programs
These programs are funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Board to consider approval of a Disposition Development Agreement and Funding Agreement (“DDA”) dated February 11, 2014, with Bloomington 1 Housing Partners. The DDA contemplates the construction of 106 housing units for senior and family households, and approximately 6,500 square foot public community library located on the north side of Valley Boulevard between Locust Avenue and Alder Avenue, in the Bloomington Community (“Development”).
All 106 units will be reserved exclusively for low income persons and households as defined in Section 50093 of the California Health and Safety Code. A Summary Report has been prepared which describes (1) the cost of the DDA to the County, (2) an explanation of how the DDA will assist in the elimination of blight and (3) the development of affordable housing in San Bernardino County.
The Summary Report is available for public inspection and on file with the Clerk of the Board for the County. The Clerk of the Board is located at 385 North Arrowhead Avenue, Second Floor, San Bernardino, CA. It is also available below on the right hand side.
